Meet Luke
I’m a carpenter by trade with more than 15 years of hands-on experience working with timber, building and practical problem solving. For the past 8 years I’ve also held a builder’s licence, giving me a strong understanding of what quality timber should look like and how it needs to perform in real projects.Over the last 3 years I’ve worked estimating landscape and construction projects, which taught me the value of planning, accuracy and clear communication. I know how important it is to deliver exactly what was promised and to make the most of every material.Living rurally on property, I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors, machinery and timber. Silva Works grew from that passion. I saw too many good logs being pushed into burn piles or wasted because people didn’t have access to the right equipment or knowledge to turn them into something valuable.Silva Works combines everything I enjoy most — timber, machinery, practical work and helping people create something worthwhile from what they already have. Whether I’m bringing the portable mill to your property or milling timber at our yard, my focus is simple: honest advice, quality workmanship and getting the absolute best result from every log.
